What comes to mind when you hear the term small business?
If you drove around Peoria 75 years ago, you would find the streets lined with family owned businesses. Typically the whole family was employed and may even live in the apartment above the store. Costs were low, cash was king, they were glad to be busy and appreciated their customers.
Now we hear about stock values and outsourcing, too bad the big business community forgot that doing a good job and taking care of customers is the real value.
